Talking cockroach video prompt generator

Build your own prompt with the tool below, or copy one of the thirty ready-made lines under it. A Roachy prompt is not a paragraph about lighting and camera angles: it's the line you want the cockroach to say, plus (optionally) where it happens. Each ready-made line is short enough for a 5 to 10 second video.

Build your roach video prompt

Pick who the roach is, where it is and what it says. The tool writes two things: a long prompt you can paste into general AI video tools, and the single line you'd type in Roachy to make the same video.

How many roaches?
Format

Long prompt for tools like Gemini or Flow

A 3D animated film-style scene (Pixar-like). Character: an adult, human-sized cockroach that stands upright on two legs and wears clothes, cartoonish but with mature facial features and adult body proportions; an office worker in a suit. Furniture, cars and rooms are normal-sized around it. Setting: in a modern office, at the desk. The roach turns to the camera, fed up, and says in English with clear lip-sync: "It's six o'clock. Nobody give me any more work!" Close-up, static camera, soft cinematic lighting. Ambient sound, no background music. No on-screen text, subtitles, logos or real people. Vertical 9:16 format, about 8 seconds.

All you'd type in Roachy

In the office, at the desk, an office worker roach turns to the camera, fed up, and says: "It's six o'clock. Nobody give me any more work!"

In Roachy this becomes a video of about 6 seconds; the app sets the length from the line.

Gemini and Flow are Google products; Roachy isn't affiliated with them. The long prompt is a starting point; results depend on the tool you use. In Roachy you don't write any of that description: the app sets the character, visual style, framing and lip-sync itself.

How these prompts are written

  • A single line is spoken to camera: "Read your message. Chose peace."
  • A scene sentence + a line puts the roach somewhere: "A roach at the gym, dumbbell on the floor: I'll start Monday. Again."
  • Who: what they say makes two roaches talk in the same video. Two or three lines, no more.
  • Every character you mention becomes a cockroach automatically, so "grandma", "boss" and "the goalkeeper" all work.

Prompts that come back empty

Sexual content is blocked before generation, and the AI provider's moderation can refuse violent or hateful text. Real people's names aren't blocked by us, but naming celebrities or clubs is a fast way to get a roast you can't post anywhere; colors and roles do the same job. Keep lines short: three sentences already push a ten-second clip.

Creating videos in Roachy needs a subscription (2 videos a day, up to 30 a month). Current prices are in the app. 18+ only.

Questions

What is the prompt for the AI cockroach video?

General AI video tools need a long prompt: what the cockroach looks like, the place, the camera and the line it says. The generator above builds that from your choices. Roachy doesn't need a long prompt; the line to say is enough, and the short line the generator gives you is exactly that.

Do I need to describe the cockroach in the prompt?

No. Unlike general video tools, Roachy already knows every character is a cartoon cockroach. Describe the mood or the outfit if you want ("a tired roach in a tie"), but the species is handled.

Can I write the prompt in Turkish, Spanish or Hindi?

Yes. The roach speaks the language you type, so translate any prompt here and it works the same way.

What's the ideal prompt length?

One or two sentences for a 6-second video, three at most for 10 seconds. If it doesn't fit, split it into a two-line dialogue or two videos.

Can I paste the viral 60-word cockroach prompt into Roachy?

You can, but most of it is wasted. Phrases like "humanoid cartoon cockroach, cinematic lighting, realistic lip sync, 4K" describe things Roachy already handles, so they don't belong in the prompt. Keep the spoken line and the place, drop the rest.
